You are so right, Seymour is a master cat-tosser and our compliant media are happy to help him out. Actually you wonder if the whole term of this coalitions is an endless conveyor belt lifting dead cats onto the table - so we don’t notice their real work to shift more wealth to the already wealthy…

I wonder if Trump had the 'dead cat strategy' explained to him, and took it literally....

I appreciate it was a diversionary tactic, but sheesh, as a resident of and teacher in South Auckland, I am sick and tired of this hammering we get.

Putting out the fire with gasoline. After all Seymour did say his favourite song was "Cat People" by David Bowie.

I've noticed it's a tactic also employed by narrsists. Loved the alternative headline.

It is obvious to see that Seymour is a Cult leader. One of the largest ploys used by these people (Trump cult) is to say ‘I’m going to protect you from these bad people’ in Seymour’s case see ‘our’ policy is good schools have been allowing waste, no fact checking of coarse. Come on media ask them for the evidence or simply say we will buzz anything you say which is suspect and needs fact checking.

The only dead Cat I'd like to see thrown on a table is David Seymour! (metaphorically speaking I hasten to add before I'm accused of inciting violence) and see what reaction that achieves. There must surely be some person in NZ that could fill David's attention and heart with love and affection so he pursues personal fullfilment rather than continually relieving his frustrations on the good folk of Aotearoa. The problem in achieving this of course is that he presents as a most despicable character with absolutely zero warmth or empathy. Still hope springs eternal!

Oh yes. That and the "I'm a fan of the Aussie rap dancer" that landed on rnz at 7am. There is no reason for that to have made the news unless Seymour himself said it to a reporter who became giddy at the social 'relevance' of the comment. Pity they didn't stick to the job at hand
