I’m probably one of many who would like to be there, but can’t. Thanks for representing people like me. 😊

I would have loved to be in Nelson at the gathering by the Cathedral steps, a mixed alas here as we're driving south on Thursday to babysit or two grand daughters.... We are with the South and Northbound hikois in spirit 👏😍💪. It never ceases to amaze us how this has to demonstrate to one very arrogant man how we all disagree with his stupid Bill. And then...... Will he withdraw it? After all, up to date he has shown to have a pretty thick skin in the name of power and has no or little humility... We shall see. 🤔😈

Bryan, you are a Living Treasure! I live in Wgtn and I'd love to join the Hikoi in person, but I'm old and not too steady on my ancient pins, but I will definitely be with you all along the way in spirit! Kia kaha!

No Maggie way more than that. Somewhere between 15K and 20K I'd say

By 'you all along the way', I did mean everyone on the Hikoi, no matter how many! Let's hope it's way more than 20K! (Well, I suppose that's what you're referring to?)

Cast your mind back to the school strike for climate which happened a few hours before the mosque shooting. Prior to the strike, the principal of my kid's school sent an email out discouraging attendence as school takes priority. I wrote back, very politely disagreeing saying that it is our civic duty to protest any and all injustice.

People like Seymour and Luxon claim to have the political ideal of less government, anti nanny state etc., but they expect us to toe their line. As soon as we don't, they're all truancy this, cut benefits that, woke this or racist that. They forget that they are there to do the mahi as directed by society, not to direct society to do the bidding of foreign interests like The Atlas group.

Also, the surest way to increase interest and attendence, is to try and ban it.
