Interesting - have you read "Jesus and John Wayne" by Kristin Kobes du Mez? The author examines how USA politics have arrived at what they are now, using a sociological, Christian and feminist perspective. Gives some insight into worldwide trends as well as how on earth those usa christians chose to vote for Trump. I think it also explains Luxon's Christian perspective on society. I found it in my local library!!
