Fantastic interview Bryan, thank you. Paul reinforced my view that Neoliberalism's primary quest is to kill off communities and societies. I am old enough to have experienced life in Aotearoa pre and post destruction of our communities and society here. (Thatcher stating that there is no such thing as society) Communities are still deeply engrained within Tanagata Whenua, most evident perhaps to myself, (as Tangata Tiriti) is in times of disaster (recent cyclones) that the first port of rescue is the local marae who are geared to feed and protect their community and without hesitation, also INDIVIDUALS in hardship, those actions, engrained in Te Tiriti quietly embarrass those who derive their wealth from society but choose to live outside it.
