Nicola Trump's Concept Of A Plan

When Donald Trump was challenged during the one and only Presidential debate with Kamala Harris if he had a Healthcare Plan to replace Obamacare, he replied he had “a concept of a plan.”
Yesterday Finance Minister Nicola Willis took a leaf out of Trump’s playbook, when she announced her concept of a plan for replacing the aging Interislander ferries - having scapped the two mega ferries the Labour coalition had ordered.
And here it is…
• Set up a Crown owned company at an undeclared cost.
• Order maybe two ferries, maybe slightly longer in length but maybe not, that might, or might not, carry trains.
•Refuse to state how much it is likely to cost.
• Invite private corporations to see if they’d like to do it.
•Pick a delivery date out of the air (say 2029) to suggest you really do have a plan.
•Refuse to talk about the cost of scapping the Labour ordered mega ferries.
•Deny any incompetancy using defiance,eg. “I’ve delivered. I’ve discharged my duty to the New Zealand People” to camouflage the fact that you clearly haven’t.
•Throw a dead cat on the table by making Winston Peters Minister For Railways.

The incompetence, arrogance and lack of empathy of the current Minister of Finance rivals only that of Ruth Richardson, who wrecked New Zealand's social structure in the 1990s with her 'mother of all budgets'. The country has never recovered from that and will suffer even further from the efforts of Nicola Willis. We have a government that doesn't listen, doesn't take the long view, and is focused on the wellbeing of the wealthy. That will eventually backfire on them, but the damage done before it does is unpleasant to contemplate.
Amazing lack of self awareness - she really has no idea of how clueless she actually is, especially watching her meanness in Parliament I can see the overindulged child bursting out like a scene from Alien
