How we became a ME society

A segment of my documentary Mind The Gap (2013)
7

In this 9 minute segment from my documentary MIND THE GAP I explain how we went from a society based on cooperation to one based on competition..

Although it was made 11 years ago and some of the figures I quoted have now changed, the underlying essay remains true - that the theory that “business knows best,” that governments should not own anything or be involved in the marketplace is a crock.

Moreover the “trickle down” idea we were sold -that the poor will benefit if some people are allowed to get extremely rich - is a fraud and it has created a yawning and ever widening gap between the haves and the have nots in our once egalitarian, social welfare, society.

The complete MIND THE GAP documentary is now available to paid subscribers.
